About the project
This residence is situated on a Two Acre plot for Dr’s family at Thanisandra Main Road, next to Vajram Essenza & Shobha city. The site is approached from all the side roads and main road. The area considered for residence is 50’ x 50’ of Two Acre Plot. The Main door facing north is accessible from both north and the south side gate.
This residence has living, dining, office space, pooja, central courtyard, Lift & staircase, media room, library, store & utility. The basement floor has a car park with indoor swimming pool & servant quarters. The entire house is designed as per vastu and all the materials used in this project are natural materials Like – Kota stone flooring, Jaisalmer stone flooring, Attangudi tiles, Exposed brick wall in the Dining, Stone and cast-iron grill in the exposed brick wall of the pooja, Jali wall in the living as a partition wall for the hand wash. The central courtyard with skylight is the focal point of the residence. The façade of the residence is of early European style with slope roof, pillars with pediments & roof cornices. The corner of the façade is treated with stone cladding. The rich flora & fauna in the site increases the Oxygen levels. The entire residence is a self-sustainable with renewable energy such as Rainwater harvesting, Solar panels for power.
This residence was completed in 2024.
