About the project
This residence is situated in Ferns Gardenia, Volagerekallahalli in Bangalore. This residence was designed for a family of five with a site area of 60’ x 62’, and built-up area of 5,073 sft. This is Northwest corner property with North as the Main Entry.
The residence is self-sustainable with renewable energy efficient such as Hybrid solar power, Rainwater harvesting & separate pipelines for the rain water as well. The residence is of contemporary design with Italian marble flooring, Teak wood for windows and doors. Very little amount of earthy materials like Terracotta Jali has been used on the side façade of the building. The skylight in the pooja caters for daylight at the top for the entire house. The bottom of the floor is surrounded by water. The walk way in the middle of the water body from dining leads to pooja. The L - Shaped window which is of 20’ in Length in North East corner has CNC Aluminum panel Sandwiched between the Clear toughened glass acts as a focal point of the building.
This was completed in the year 2022.
